Story Idea: The rebuilding of China will take a number of years


1. Main Story: Why should I care? Five million people have been left homeless from the May 12 earthquake.

2. Main Story: What kind of damage has been done? Pretty much everything has been destroyed from houses, buildings, streets and rivers have developed into lakes.

3. Main Story: How many people have been killed or injured from the earthquake? The number of confirmed deaths is over 80,000 people with almost 20,000 people missing.

4. Photo: What kind of relief has been provided? The Ordinary Chinese loaded their cars with dried noodles and bottled waters and drove to the affected areas. A number of people have been rescued from the school’s rubble. Many people are being treated for their wounds and injuries.
