Feminists are divided between Obama and Clinton surprisingly. Feminists might be supporting front runner Barack Obama because feminists believe the Clinton campaign is trying to capitalize on racial divisions and to impugn Obama’s patriotism.

Sunday May 11- The Columbian

Obama added five super delegates. Clinton’s slipped to eighty seven delegates just as Obama embarked on his run of eleven straight victories.

Monday May 12- The Oregonian

Presidential candidate John McCain will be in Oregon to talk about how he could combat global warming.

Former President Bill Clinton is supporting his wife Hilary Clinton to talk to audiences about Hilary’s outline on ending the war in Iraq, bringing home the troops, rebuilding the military, restore manufacturing jobs to the United States, jumpstart medical and technical research and to unravel the knots in the economy, education, health care and energy.

Tuesday May 13- The Columbian

John McCain declared global warming real, but reached out to Democrats and independents with a free market solution that includes capping carbon fuel emissions.

Wednesday May 14- The Oregonian

Mississippi Democrat Travis Childers counters his support of gun rights and opposition to abortion and his social values match those of most voters in the deeply conservative district.


Thursday May 15- The Columbian

Michigan Democrat John Edwards endorsed formal rival Barack Obama on Wednesday, a move designed to help the party’s likely presidential nominee as Clinton refuses to give up her long shot candidacy.
